I've just finished the storyline and my guys don't have that much cash on hand. You get to do some missions for an NPC which manipulate the stock market. I was wondering if you could leave these until the main mission is finished and then use the stock market manipulations to increase the take from the last heist to finance the large purchases afterwards?

If we're talking about the assassination missions that toy with the companies, then yes, my understanding is that you can leave them.

I haven't really had any money issues because I can't really find anything worth spending money on. My garage system is broken and doesn't actually save the cars (I hear they're working on a patch) and weapons/ accessories are pretty cheap.

Yeah my guys are all running around with 30 million in their pockets and I never had money issues in the game, I just want to buy the Golf course.

I also spent 50k on car mods which vanished. A rumored work around is when you buy a garage, those don't delete cars. I just steal a new car every time I exit a building.

I have read that the assassination missions from Lester can be saved until the end so you can spend more money in the stock market.

I fixed up a vehicle, but I'm too afraid to do anything with it for fear of it disappearing. I had a car towed to impound once, but it re-appeared in my garage without me ever picking it back up.
Face it guys, common sense is a form of wealth and we're surrounded by poverty.-Strato

The only safe bet are the garages you purchase. The home garages almost always delete your ride.

What's really great is putting all that money into Michael's main ride and then the game decides you need a different one a quarter of the way through

Just got started on GTA Online yesterday.
Started a crew, bought one garage and have a BF Injection and Hummer customized. Once you get past the crashes from complete server overload the gameplay is quite good.
