![]() I need the model numbers for these planes. I'm stuck on the middle top row - white jet that looks like a DC-9. Is it? And the cammo turboprop next to it that I think looks like a Chinese plane. Also looking for the F5/F20 that's on the bottom row on the right. I can't tell which it is. |

Looks like an F5 to me. The main difference is the 5 had 2 smaller engines and the 20 had one big one. Hard to tell, but that looks more like the small one.

I'll agree with your DC-9 instinct.

Its a piston engine version so it's the earlier DHC-4 or 7, had to enlarge pic. DHC-5 is a turboprop.

Are those pistons? I thought it looked like a turboprop.
Thanks man. I was going to be way off there! :) Looked up some DHC-5's and the similarity is there but the powerplants are way different. KBK Edited by Kayback - 12 March 2013 at 9:57am |

I'm going to say F5-E on the bottom right.
Shot enough of them down in ACE Combat to believe I'm correct...... |

My initial thought was T-38 because of the small engine inlets. But the canopy looks wrong. That looks like a single seat cockpit. T-38s were 2-seater trainers.
