...And really enjoyed it.

Did my first 18-hole course. I didn't embarrass myself, I had fun, and I want to do it again.

Just thought you guys should know. Carry on with your lives.

This seems like too "normal" of an activity for you to take up.

Also, I used to be big into golf, but it seems to me that the more I played, the worse and worse I played.

Bought? Who are you and what have you done with DeTrevni?!? The REAL DeTrevni would have insisted on making his clubs from scratch using a lathe and CNC Mill.

I've gone golfing on two separate occasions. I wasn't very good at it, and i didn't enjoy the experience very much.

Anyway, DeTrevni will somehow find a way to build a gaudy body kit for a golf cart so it looks like a '56 Roadmaster. That would only be appropriate.

I played golf once. It ruined a perfectly good afternoon stroll in a garden.

I will let others do it, thanks.

I used to golf fairly regularly.  The more I played it the more I realized how big a role alcohol played.

I like golf.

I'm terrible at it, but I enjoy it.

There was a pretty nice "cheap" course near me that closed this last year. Now the only things close are the city municipal course. Where every redneck with a club or 2 goes to drink and sorta play.
Or the expensive courses that require reservations. Its, a little too early in the year to get any twilight rates.

And I would have, too, if my boss would stop looking over my shoulder long enough to get some "government time" in on the machines...

I like pitch and putt. All the fun of casual golf, none of the sucking at teeing off.

I love a good drive. It's like that sensation in baseball where you get perfect bat-to-ball sweet spot, and all the energy is smoothly transferred to the ball. You don't even feel the resistance of the ball against the club, you just hear the smooth "thwack," and the ball goes flying. It is REALLY irritating, though, when you could swear it was a good drive, and then you watch the ball slice sharply. That was most of my experience yesterday, but I'm convinced a bit of time at the driving range can fix that.

Nah. "They" want me to drop $800 on an iron. I had fun with my $100 (new) SET. Golf has more pushed, overpriced technology than paintball...

I'm wrong-handed at golf and baseball (but I'm right-hand dominant, strangely enough), so thrift store or pawn shop complete sets are hard for me to come by out here. Like I said, I'm happy with my $100 set of Wilsons. :)

I slice like no other. It is really annoying.

Golfing is a good skill to know.
