Long story short- I banged my head against a wall Friday and've been pretty mentally confused ever since(having trouble reading and writing and general comprehension of everything). Something in my forehead doesn't feel right(not painful, but like there's some weird activity going on in there) and my mind is continually going blank. At what point should I consider going to the hospital?

Since you've waited this long an urgent care clinic would be cheaper than ER if you don't have a PCP.

Any where you go their going to recommend a Head C.T. - $2200 or so.
It sounds like you have a pretty significant concussion - I'd get it checked out. Although, having waited over a week - The Docs likely won't be able to do much. Get it checked on.

Went in, got a Cat Scan- everything was fine(no bleeding anyway, in retrospect-I was completely concussed out last week- to the point of not being able to make hardly any decisions or think), they gave me some ibuprofen which helped alleviate the pressure. Thanks for the advice ya'll

Good luck with that. I got a CAT scan in relation to the drunk driver that hit me on my way to my work assignment. Just got a notice from Workman's Comp that $152.10 wasn't covered 'on their schedule'. So, I expect to see a bill from the radiology department at the hospital while I try to fight this charge.
