I didn't think it was a buried story, just so many other things took the top billing. I also wasn't surprised that this broke months ago. It's still a story about something that didn't happen, with little truly damning evidence, considering we're largely ignoring the UK thing.

Yeah old Rupert's been doing this for years, He's taking a bit of a battering this side of the pond but I reckon it's just people making noise. Our dear overlord Mr Cameron was a bit cosy with him, his son and some ginger bint Rebecca Brookes (Since charged for illegal payments made to police and others for info).
Newscorp may lose some of it's influence here after the Leveson enquiry as I think politicians will be under a lot more scrutiny but the group still run most of the tabloids here and they all clearly have agendas and the "journalism" makes me cringe. They do however put boobs in The Sun every day so I wont stop buying it.
He owns Fox news after all so I don't see this as a big story and following Mr Petraeus' recent antics is it not a bit irrelevant as well? |
