Apex 2 barrel on stock Salvo???

   I saw a youtube vid where a guy put an apex 2 barrel on his salvo with the stock picatinny shrouf and it looked badazz!  he didnt however say what length og apex he was using.  Im thinking the 14 is too short and a 16 would be about right.  so i call my local shop and ask about this and they told me that the barrel would not fit into (diameter wise) the salvo shroud??>  can anybody confirm this??  i was thinking the only problem i would face would be the mock silencer tip hittting the shroud from a length issue and thats why i was thinking 16in.  thoughts?
