Hi all.

I recently had my old M98 Custom returned to me by my brother who took it off to college and I am, to say the least, confused.

He seems to have added a low pressure kit to the gun but it's running hpa via a Mac Dev Conquest 68/4500 bottle.

This leaves me with a number of questions. Please see below:

  • Is this normal? I thought the lpk was for systems running co2.
  • Should I yank the lpk?
  • If I yank the lpk can I still use the powertube assembly or do I have to replace all the internals? (I envision accomplishing this by simply unscrewing the powertube from the knuckle where the low pressure chamber and the vert adapter meet)
  • If I have to replace all the internals what are some recommended replacement parts? I checked one or two sites and they had feck all in the way of 98 internals.

Any recommendations to suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
