Bath Salts

Wow, I have seen a great many people in my time burn some gorilla biscuits (PCP/Angel Dust) and act really scary but nothing like this.

Yeah, except it's nothing like LSD, chemically or otherwise. Gotta love sensationalism.

I had an LSD-related reply typed up, but I don't want tread on forum rules so I'll just say that, having never tried it myself, I've heard that the effects are grossly exaggerated.

Bath salts were a drug to get past drug tests. Now that companies and courts are testing for it, someone will design a new drug.

Just huff some glue people.

Is linked? Can you provide some clinical studies showing that? Research chemicals by their very definition do not have a significant body of data related to them.  

e: To be clear, I'm not saying that they're as harmless as marijuana, but making categorical claims like that is ignorant.

How about 2 stories within the last week or so, one where a dude ate a homeless guys face off and another where a guy stabbed himself 50 times or so?  We had a local incident where a teenage girl stabbed her 4 year old sister to death and then went after her mother while she was high on bath salts.

First of all, 'Bath Salts' as a term means nothing. It is a marketing term for nebulous mixtures of different chemicals. Second, a much more important thing to consider is the near complete lack of mental health and addiction counseling for low income people in the United States, which is likely a larger contributing factor here, as the claim with the most tread thus far is that drugs such as mephedrone act to irritate or accelerate existing mental disorders. 

i bet it would make for a very relaxing evening if you put it in youre bathtub.

That spice stuff is SO stupid. Causes any number of health problems and hospitalizations. All that matters is that the real thing, which has never killed anyone, is illegal.
