   Honestly? Flat  black rattle can. Prepare the metal properly, spay on a warm day, consider oven curing it. Re touch as needed. I guess you could Duracoat it if you are going to do that anyway, but I find rattle cans acceptable for that sort of non precision work.

Just bought my brothers Xmas gift. He runs through knives like they are hookers and blow. The airport police took his last one. Fortunately CRKT make great gear that is cheap. His favourite style is the M16 pattern. Got him a rescue one with day glo handles. Lose that one. I dare you.....
