Why does the x7 cyclone feed have holes on the valve tube when the a5 and uprgrade system for the 98c do not? Just wondering what the actual purpose of the ports are for and if its worth drilling out the holes on mine.

X7 came out later than the other two, so they gave it an "Upgraded" cyclone. Basically, it is a cheaper QEPH. Google it.

I've googled like crazy all it says is upgraded this and upgraded that.... But can't seem to find the reasoning behind the actual porting. Seems like no one knows lol.

Normally after the cyclone cycles, the gas in its piston has to travel back out of the hose and out the valve. With the porting drilled, once the piston fully cycles, the gas can just come out the sides. It speeds up the cyclone's cyclic rate.
