So, I wanted a bicycle to ride around. Was looking at some mountain bikes, when I had a epiphany. Searched around on craiglist and found what I wanted.

The guy is asking $350. Hopefully I can beat him down to $300 or less.

That bike is very nice looking.  I was looking at a Trek throw back at it was more than that. I may have to over bid you on this one.

I know I can build one myself. And seeing the first thing I'm going to do, is take everything apart on this bike, and put it back together. (Checking what needs loctite)

But, I don't even have bike to start with. So buying this for 300 bucks, is cheaper.

It looks huffyish to me.

I've thought about building one of those, as it looks like fun. For $300 you can't really go wrong...

Walmart bikes have the uncanny ability to show up on the shelf with 2 year old top notch geometry.

Regardless of price and quality, those geometry lines are all the rage in industry dominating company throw back bikes

here's trek (cough cough) i was looking at

I had the link in my first post. The pics were stolen from their site.

Ha. Yeah, that probably has a lot to do with it.

Combine that with the lesser insurance and the ability to park them almost everywhere and it's a perfect storm.
