That would be contradictory to his own vehement affirmation that Muslimesndeserve to be treated full equally to all others. I'm curious to see what*other* ideas he has now that he's dismissed his old one.

I dont see the big deal. Sure it'll be a bit embarassing when a life size scan of your knob is put on a giant screen for everyone in the airport to look at then televised for anyone out the airport. But when someone is offering to strap me onto a flying machine and get me across the planet in a matter of hours (with a bar and a movie) Then i'll take the "inconvenience" of being searched. I reckon exploding whilst travelling at 700mph at 30,000ft could be a bit inconvenient. I'm not sure if you guys heard but there are people actively trying to blow up aircraft.

I would make that the most aqward search ever. Working in an airport now however, I cant wait to see what happens with this.

Let's be honest though, the likelihood of your plane getting highjacked by terrorists is somewhere in the range of winning the lottery. It's not like 300 planes are being highjacked a week.

I'll try that one next time on friday when im getting on a plane. "Yeah sir but lets think about this, the chances of me being  a terrorist are remote"

 Maybe not me but I will guarantee that there is someone somewhere living happily who will be killed when his aircraft is blown up. Will the body scanners and searches (Which have been in place as long as commercial flight) definitely stop any attack? No. But it does stop one of  the easiest ways to attack. What's your problem with it? It takes 20 minutes in a queue. You don't have anything better to do anyway.

Lets not forget a couple of bombs were discovered emmm all the way back last week. I know they were cargo items but still it demonstrates the threat.
