Ok, brand new player to the sport and this is probably a stupid question, but a simple one.
I just got a Phenom (love it so far) but am slightly confused. The manual states to grease and insert the included o-ring, but the local dealer I talked to said it wasn't necessary, an o-ring was already on the tank I bought and that the one included with the gun was just a spare. I took him at his word and the gun certain worked fine yesterday but I just wanted to make sure there really shouldn't be two o-rings involved - one in the x7's air supply adapter and the one on the tank itself. While I'm writing this, I do have another question. When I went to the field and chrono'd the gun, the velocities were all over the place (I think between 275 and 286). The refs at the field told me that for new guns that's pretty normal and that it will even out as it wears in. Is this correct? Thanks... |
