Well, we'll soon find out. My buddy and I just ponied up for a few of the "bargain bin" CMMG M-4s. The price? $599.99 for the rifle, $25 to have it hand picked, $24 to have it shipped. I'll wind up spending about $28 more for a rear sight and $7.99/ea for mags, but for what will wind up being a <$700 M4, well, you just can't beat that with a stick.
Also, the online reviews of last year's "scratch and dent" batch were sterling. They might not win any beauty contests, but they shoot straight and true without any fuss, so it looks pretty legit. Review, of course, will be posted once it's in my hands and spewing copper coated lead down range. |

Sounds like a steal.

It still is for wimps, but the wife needs something to use when the Chinese invade..... 
As Shorty says, I've caught BRD, Black Rifle Disease. My personal thinking is that one of these days, I'll trade in all of my "cheap" rifles and get an expensive one that I'll be happy with for some time. |
