Just make sure to look around for a decent site. Then search the shop name on google. That'll give you a good idea if there legit.
If she's opposed to you having a marker full stop then I would go ahead and get it. If you manage to go for a month or two without shooting yourself or the neighbours cat in the face then they usually come round. |

To the poster-
How old are you? When I was a kid, I was an expert at conning my mom into buying things she didn't want me to have. Don't just run up to her and say MOM I WANT A PAINTBALL GUN, call it a paintball marker, it sounds better and won't make her think of killing people quite so much. Then tell her about all the safety equipment you'll HAVE to have to play the game on a real field-tell her you need to buy that equipment first. Trust me, the more responsible and mature you sound, the less she'll worry that you're going to use your "gun" to shoot out little girls' eyes (really has happened, by the way).
And if she's worried about buying online, buy in store. You gotta do what you gotta do when mom's footing the bill :).

Agree with above. What is her objection? Don't buy second hand or Ebay if thats her problem. Buy from a reputable online store. It cost more, but my friend got his A5 from Amazon! I've bought tons of stuff, both for paint ball and not, and never (yet) lost money. |
