Not so much for content as the cover.
I do a lot of my Christmas shopping at bookstores, and ran across this today, I got a chuckle out of it, and I think it could be a little sad that I noticed the problem with the cover graphic right away....before I even read the title.

Pic left large for a reason.....

That explains many, many things.

Leads me to believe that the guy is some publisher's son they crammed into a pair of ACUs and said 'look forlorn'

The book I got today for my b-day is waaaay better. Mom and Pop got me a first edition 1935 Medieval to "Modern" atlas drawn and published by some famous Columbia University professor.

Talk about awesome w/o the fail.

Score!

Yeah, I found about a dozen books that I added to my 'must read' list. In fact, it was while browsing for my own purposes that I came across this little gem.

Niq, I doubt that. It was probably meant to be airbrushed out.

I wouldn't mind reading that book to see if maybe there is some connection between it and *maybe* it is on purpose

It's pretty funny.

Funny =/= great book in my opinion.  The whole point is that it's trash.

I did a little bit of research on the book and the author, I wanted to see if there was anyone else out there that had noticed it or if there was any correlation if it was done intentionally.

The work I'd done makes me a little leery of the book and its content. A botched cover photo (found no evidence that it was done on purpose) and the author is now in college for creative writing, and in an interview he specifically referred to the book as 'my first novel'
Is it a novel or a true story? I don't know. I might have to buy the damn book and read it.

Feed elbow, no magazine, safety writing on the side......to me these are glaring issues that shouldn't have slipped past someone.
