Right now, I'm having my first glass of red wine since 2001. I got seriously drunk on the stuff when I was a senior in HS, and haven't even been able to smell it since.
One of the guys at work gave me a bottle today, and I figured that since it's been almost a decade, I should be able to drink it by now... .....I might have been mistaken. I don't know if I can drink it. |

Lemoncello is easy to make. Grappa and lemon rinds and let that sit in a closet for a week or two then strain it into a bottle and add simple syrup till you get it as sweet as you like it.

Holy Crap.....was given a bottle of this for Christmas:  This is about the only wine I can drink without getting ill. Mead is GREAT stuff, and this is about the best I've had. Sweet without the bite. Fantastic. |

The first time I had it was at a Renaissance fair. I immediately loved it, to the point where my wife and I did the traditional final toast at our wedding with mead. (origin of 'honeymoon') Love the stuff. |

I've always wanted to brew a mead but the year of fermenting is just far to long to justify. Unless I were to buy another carboy just for it...
Although it's not like I'm using my brew stuff right now anyways. |

You might be able to find Oliver mead in Ohio. I recommend it. Also, picked up a bottle of Glenlivet 12 year tonight. This stuff is dee-lish-us. Edited by Eville - 29 December 2009 at 2:47am |
