i know most of you hate fmylife and all that jazz, but i read this today and thought of all the ccw people
Today, I stopped by the gun store to pick up a new concealed weapon for protection. As I was leaving the store, a man came up behind me, hit me with a crowbar, and stole my gun. FML |

Its not so much the web site, its the braindead parrots who add "FML" to the stupidest things on facebook or the internet. I wish so badly to be able to kill anyone who uses that outside of the web site. |

Reb, just hit them with a crowbar. It's easier and you get free guns.
Anyone who gets blindsided like that probably shouldn't be carrying anyway. Self defence isn't about carrying a gun, it is about avoiding situations like this, and if you can't being able and willing to protect yourself physically. I'm sure some of those FML's were true, and they are marginally funny, but when it became mainstream to add FML to anything that sucks, or to make stuff up to post on FML it's idiotic. Hell most of the stuff on FML I'd never even admit to if it happened to me :) KBK |

Yeah, 'FML' should be reserved for something truly awful.
E.g., "I pooped in the bath" =/= FML. "I pooped in the hot tub I was sharing with a womens' beach volleyball team" = FML. "I tripped and fell on the stairs" =/= FML. "I was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo" = FML.
