And I must say, I am thoroughly impressed.  I just now saw this:

I really don't know what else to say.

Most sects of Christianity view Homosexuality as a sin, and so in that way they do not condone or support Homosexuality.  Some of these sects take their views further and protest things such as gay marriage, where the idea is not to be a jerk to Homosexuals, but rather to protect the notion of what the bible calls marriage.  That's a whole other topic though.

Very few sects actively promote hate against Homosexuals.  Most sects are strongly against such actions (You know, Jesus and the whole casting stones thing?  That New Testament guy that we named the religion after?).

The funny thing is,

Rupert Murdoch (and cronies) beliefs  -  nationalist ideology  =  WBC beliefs

Now, please correct me where I am wrong, because I clearly am - but I had a distinct sense that your beliefs were not that different from the WBC beliefs?

Heck, the WBC beliefs aren't really that out of line with most of AoG/CoC dogma in general - the main difference is that WBC walks the walk instead of just talking smack behind closed church doors.

(Not saying you are AoG/CoC, but that my understanding of your beliefs is that you are generally in that vague vincinity)

No, the Catholic church is.  Episcopal is not; they have a gay bishop.

Church of Christ is VERY anti-gay. They are worse than most of the southern baptists I know.

Somehow what I said was an attack on you? Interesting, I was unaware of that.

I'm going to go so far as to say that ALL church of christ churches are against homosexuality. But its definitely a fallacy to say that they as a denomination are okay with it.

When did Jesus ever say anything against homosexuality? The old law was done away with, and sure Jesus talked about man and woman being married, but it never once at any point states Jesus said anything about 2 men or 2 women not being together.
