Hey i wanted to get a j&j barrel kit for my tippmann 98 platinum i was windering that iff i just get edge elite kit...it says that it fits a 98 and 98c but will it fit my platinum?? just wondering becuase the threadings on my platinum are way spread apart compared to my ions and the picture they show looks like the threadings are to close together to fit my gun.

Yes it will fit. There are two sets of threads. The threads on the back will be compatible with your 98. The threads the fit the back and front of the barrels together are finer.
