Dear lord, 5000 g's? It might be useful for launching diamonds or carbon nano tubes into space

I really can't think of anything that we need in space that will be happy to take 5,000 Gs. Perhaps I'm missing something?
That said, hypersonic aircraft aren't necessarily a bad way to get to space -- ram/scramjets could provide an efficient method of gaining speed in a significant portion of the atmosphere. Getting into orbit requires "hypersonic" flight at some point, but it's obviously preferable to reach that speed in the upper atmosphere. |

Hypersonic is dependent on Mach, which is dependent on the speed of sound, which is dependent on density and temperature. The orbital speed at which you reach 'hypersonic' is much higher in the upper atmosphere in the lower atmosphere. Saying that you must be hypersonic to reach orbit is not true. |

When will you realize that representative samples are not FACT. And you can believe in God, but don't interfere with others who would like to pursue science. And don't argue 'not with your money', because you live in a society. It's not all about you.
