Have you ever taken the tombstone out?
Next time you do, take a look inside the valve and see if the o-ring in there is seated. Also, before you put the tombstone back in, put a ring of oil around the hole. Make sue you are using an approved lube, like Hoppes9, and not 3 in 1 or WD40. |

The O-ring appears to be flush and the little washer fits over it with no problems....but I will double check and oil it up

Well theres your problem. The o-ring goes on top of the washer, not the other way around.
O-rings seal. Hard to seal when theres a washer in the way. |

I have the same problem on two newer A5s. About 1500 rounds through each. When I screw on Co2 tanks they blow out the barrel. The gun is cocked.
What is the "Tombstone" ?
Too new to the sport and guns to know the buzz words.
Is there a tear down diagram/ proceedure on this site?
Thanks
