Personally, I think we're going to see wide spread death south of our border. I just hope it's done with by the time I go on my honeymoon to Costa Rica.

it was only a matter of time before another flu came around...time to stock up on airborne tablets and vitamin C filled products.

This is where it sucks to be in this field...
Some of the first and only people to die from SARs in the west were EMS personnel that came in contact with Asian immigrants. If you see video of me running from a Mexican holding a pig, you know why. Edited by Linus - 25 April 2009 at 9:15pm |

If only it were that simple. The reason why people are scared of this one, and rightly so, is that it is actually killing people who don't normally die from the flu, which is people in the 16-50 age range. On top of that, the normally healthy people are the ones dying as well. Flu typically kills the young and the old, but rarely ever the healthy middle ages. |

Great, this crap made it to new zealand already thanks to 22 or so auckland kids going to mexico for three weeks. Good thing they were from the north island and im on the south island. Id say that greatly reduces my chances of getting this.
Still time to be careful. |
