I havent read much into this but could this be caused by the possible poor health of Mexico's citizens?

Aaaaannnnddd the W.H.O. just raised us to a level 4 pandemic:


Death toll is now 149. The main culprit in the deaths is the body's reaction to the virus. Essentially the lungs of these otherwise healthy 16-50 year old people are ripping themselves apart in a very odd auto-immune response. When asked why the deaths are only in Mexico, the experts asked by WTOP here in DC stated that they had no clue.

Yes, the drugs Tamiflu or Relenza are useful against this strain of flu.



Strato... atleast YOU don't have to drive out to Dallas to work around sick people all day.

Upstate NY is still clean. We keep most of our nastiness confined to NYC anyway. I'm in a hospital anyway, so if anything DOES happen, I'm in a good spot, but man, what a fun time to have a baby.

3 cases i believe in milwaukee.  one of my profs works at an area lab, and yesterday his pager kept going off because of it. 


and now i'm sick. 

no flu, just a head cold, but still a bit scary
