Why do you need a mosin for zombies?

I swear the mosin is overkill for the partially decomposing and mushy undead. I sat next to a group at the range with no dividing walls and got wacked by the muzzle blast for 3 hours today. The .243's, .270's and such were not as bad as those guys and their 1903, mosin and k98 mauser. Holy crap those things were overkill for people hunting. Thankfully they were on my right so I got to rain hot steel wolf cases on them while they weren't beating my brains out with their reports. Not a bad year so far, two days into it and I've blown through 1000+ rounds (try that with a hang over ;)

well i mean if your not man enough to take a real round you can shoot that little 7.62x39...

be glad they werent shooting .338 laupa or .50 bmg...

Good idea. My house is less than 50 yards away from it so I guess I'll be the first to try out that theory.

Screw it. My old high school is a fortress. All I have to do is clear it out and set up its 1st floor hurricane shutters and I'd be made.

Why is it so many 'what would you do if zombies attacked!?' threads come up?

Is it just that everyone has the thought that a zombie attack is imminent and how interesting it would be to actually happen and have to barricade ourselves in our homes and fend of the flesh hungry post-humans?

Me? Being as my house is the only one around for 5 miles, I would post up on my rooftop during the days with the .50, and wait.

sledgehammer and roof access is how im going aroung mine.. but thats only if im not at college when it happens... if im at college... i live in old army barracks... i think ill be good for a couple weeks
