Over a week ago, I wrote my mom some checks which she deposited.  When we do our online banking thing, money has been added to her account from those checks.  But on my end, there hasn't been any money deducted.

Since then, I have spent money from my checking, and added money, and both times, the transactions have cleared.

The only reason this is matters is because the checks were worth $400 together.  Could it be possible that the bank screwed up and I still get to keep my $400?  I hope so.

Banks eventually catch things like this.  I would recommend not spending/counting on keeping that money.

Doubtful, your mom's bank might have processed the checks late and will show up next period.
