Yeah, especially with prices as low as they are now.

Your school should provide some sort of web space, you may want to look into that for future transfers. For some of my classes we just uploaded our work to our site and sent a link. We're all given a certain amount of web space and SFTP access and I'm sure this is a standard thing nowadays.

Interesting. My school just assigns us web space for general use, regardless of what classes you take.

Haha, they should replace pencils/lanyards as the standard promotional freebies with flash drives of that size. I saw a 16GB drive for around $20 not too long ago and 8 GB drives for a little less than that. The funniest part about this whole thing though is that in probably about a year or two you'll be able to get flash drives that can hold over 1 TB of data. There's some technology being worked on that will allow a tremendous leap in storage capacity and similar production costs. There are these new components being developed called memristors that will probably be used to replace flash memory, RAM, and hard drives with some sort of uber-memory (think fast like RAM but non-volatile). I imagine the RAM and hard disks being merged into one big chunk of this new memory once they get the technology developed enough.
