Ever wonder why clowns throw pies?

Because they would never besmirch a cake's excellent flavor and spongy, moist texture by throwing it at a living being. Cake, my friends, is a thing to be savored! Pies, however, can be relegated to the roll of non-lethal munitions.

Did Teddy Roosevelt not say, "Speak softly, but carry a big pie"? Of course! It would have made no sense to anyone with sense to carry a big cake as a threat as cake is the great common factor amongst mankind the world over. Pie, however, is useful only as the threat.

To that point, Marie Antoinette showed disdain for her subjects, the proletariat masses that Ulyanov spoke of many years later, when she, with her elitist aspirations of pie, said "Let them eat cake" merely hours before she was beheaded as the cake-hating aristocrat she was known to be. Had she said, "Let ME eat cake," the masses surely would have seen her as wise and benevolent and welcomed her to the fold.

No friends, do not fall into that capitalist trap which is pie! Rise up! Rise up and bring forth cake to the poor humble masses who have lived too long under suffocating meringue-topped oppression, yearning for Sacher Torte, Chocolate Chip Kaluha Cake and freedom from a world of pasty crust!
