I remember that Skillet's lead singer used to belong to a band called Wok, but he left due to cultural differences. He then formed a band called Saucepan, then they all went their seperate ways when things got a little too hot and tempers boiled over.

So now he has joined Skillet which is now basically a combination of Wok and the indie band Cookie Sheet.

I think Comotose is probably their best CD. Whispers in the Dark is on there.

$100?  That's ridiculous.

Why is everything religious worth so much more money?

so much more? guitar hero three with guitar started at 90, so its an extra ten bucks...

and due to the fact that they wont attract the audience of guitar hero 3 they wont be making as many coppies and thus might not be able to get components as cheap (especially as a big studio like activision). so they are most likely making less per game unit....

and then there is recouping thier programming/r&d expendatures...

its not because its a religious game, its just the way the market works.

I had a buddy back in middle school who gave me two skillet cd's for free. His dad co-owned ardent records at the time I believe. Good thing I didn't have to pay for the albums though, that band totally sucks.

to be fair making the game cant be that expensive considering Guitar Zero and Frets On Fire give it away for free. But yes, I imagine hardware will be a larger cost for them, unless it's SUPER cheap ones.
