Upon watching it again, the movie was just your everyday good movie.

Heath Ledger, however, was simply amazing in almost every way possible.

Not that I'm an overly energetic TDK fanboy, but I did think it was the best movie of the year so far. Could I inquire as to why you thought it was merely average (or everyday 'good' movie)?
