I get 24 on the highway, with a V8. 23 MPG does not impress.

I don't know what I get, nor do I care to try and calculate it. I know it is pretty darn good, and could probably get better if I put a new carb on my truck, but once again I don't care.

EDIT:

I like the pilot commercial with the bison, especially when the old guy in the front seat is like that bison got my blood a boilon, and then the driver is like no... that is probably just the seat warmer.

Emmishions standards are KILLING fuel economy on everything.

These cars today make me laugh and cry at the same time its absolutely pathetic.  I am a diesel mechanic for a living.  Not long ago a (actually still running em) a big truck 2001 Freightliner FLD Classic XL with a 475hp 14L Detroit Series 60 6cyl hauling 80,000lbs of good old Canadian BEER could pull off 8mpg rolling down the road.  Why is it we still have 4000lbs cars with small V8s hauling ONE PERSON getting only 10mpg?????????

Me i run about as fuel economical as a car lover can.  I got a 2004 VW Jetta TDI that averages 45mpg city and has a best recorded highway milage of 58mpg.  For a toy i ride a small bore motorcycle that averages 48mpg with a best milage of  55mpg.
