What is the best bolt upgrade for the a5? (im looking for silence, accuracy,
less ball breaks)
Paintball Gun: A-5| E-Grip| JCS Trigger| J&J 16"
Toaster Oven: 05 Special Edition Burner| Increased Toast Capacity(Up to 15 slices!)| Speedline Toast Rack set to 34 POTPS(Pieces Of Toast Per Second)

in general, the stock internals are the best. From looking at your sig, your money may be better spent on a better barrel. I beleive the j&j ceramic is pretty quiet. there are prolly quieter ones that other people know of though.

does length of barrel matter how quiet it is?

i don't really know how much length plays a part in how quiet your marker is. The porting (or lack of porting) of the barrel is mainly what makes it loud or quiet.

the best bolt is the one that came with your gun. all other are just pieces of molded plastic that people are trying to sell you with unchecked claims of accuracy and performance but no after market bolt for a tippmann has even shown any kind of superior performance.

Yes, length and porting effect the sound of a barrel.  Spaced out porting along an entire barrel will make it quieter.

You are wasting your money buying a new bolt.  The most "performance" you will ever see is a different sound when firing, and even then only with metal internals.
