The flatline is good if you want range, but for accuracy get a J&J ceramic, Big Shot or Apex and if you got the extra dough, you might want to look into a barrel kit.

I'd go with the JJ Ceramic.

How do you rate the Apex barrel being as accurate as the J & J or Lapco barrels?

The flatline is great for distance but is less accurate at further ranges and if there are any elements in play (like wind) the trajectory can be seriously thrown off.  I prefer the J&J over any other barrel personally.

The J&J Kit, or just a single piece barrel?
What are the advantages of the kit?

The advantage of the kit is that you have different barrel backs of different bore sizes so that you can match the barrel to the paint you use because paintballs come in different calibers.

For example: my kit contains a .685, .688, .691, and .693 backs and they help to have a nice ball to barrel match for better accuracy.
