Nice job so far.  Though I have to say, not wild about the rims.  Looks like they're off a "pony", just like the one pictured...

Personally I'm more into sleepers. Someone thinks it looks slow? Good.

I have always been a fan of sleepers.

Yeah, the rims are alright, but if you like them, they are great.  I want to do something like this so bad, haha.   I really want to do this kind of with my 97 Explorer Sport.  It came with the special limited package that included a Mustang engine in it.  It starting to rust too bad now though, its only one one side and area though.  But theres no support really behind the area.

What color are you thinking of painting it?

Eh, it's because nobody has really payed much attention to good ol' Hades lately.

It's really just best not to feed the "monkeys."

Alright, Steeda  rear control arms came the other day. If you spend over $250 you get a free hat and t-shirt. No pics of the hat or shirt though lol, nice stuff though.

Lower control arms,

Upper tubular control arms,

Some other random pics,

Came off a clean V8,(same car the bumper is from)

Got a new bumper since old is rusted,

Old bumper,

Couple rusted spots we removed the rusted metal and I welded some steel plates to add some strength where the metal was gone,

The one with two plates was behind the fender, the other was in the engine bay,

The old rims,

The fender, not sure if we are replacing it yet or not.

Also, new gas tank was ordered the other day.

It's pretty cool to actually see a project being followed through. Usually more than I can say. :)

Yea, I'm trying to keep a lot of updates with pics on here.

Another side note, we returned the subframe connectors, getting some different ones.

I dont see anything wrong with the rims. I think they look simple and nice imo.

I know the protective finish on my rims (polished amuminum) wore off and now my front rims look like crap. I need to re-polish and clear coat them.

I love the rims. But they're 14" and so we will need at least 15". They have some pitting but they shine nicely.

This makes me wanna start a build thread for my truck, some point after this Wednesday. I will be picking up the lowering/lifting blocks, as well as some MDF to begin the building of my sub box.

I will, there are a few things I have already done that I don't have many pictures for, but I think I do have some. So far I have installed a new stereo, new seats, got some new tires, and thats about it. The major stuff will have to wait till summer starts, because my truck is a DD.

Yea, I'll get some pics of the tank and stuff later. I was installing the rear shocks when I realized the company had put the wrong shock in the wrong box... ugh.
