Make a vid of the very first time you try to start it. I just think it would be funny that all this hardwork you are putting into it fails the first few times.

Oh ya, one other thing.
We picked up one of these lift plates yesterday as well. It just bolts right onto your intake where the carb would go. ![]() |

You know how easy it would have been to make a lift plate? Save a little cash.

Yea, we thought about it. But we had been using the shop owners time for well over an hour of questions ect and had to walk out with something.

Easy to make, but I'd rather pay the $$ and buy an engineered one, I've seen 2 homebuilt ones break on the same motor. |

Not to mention the metal might flex a little when you weld it.

You'll like the CF DF, I had one in a previous car. Very easy clutch. My current Mustang has a King Cobra, pain in the can when I am just trying to feather it on a slight incline. Good luck.

now i'm curious. what sort of MPG are you expecting from this and are there certain parts you could buy (since you're doing this from scratch essentially) to help increase the MPG?
