Silly americans thats a funny law,  I owned my first Car when i was 16.  As long as you can hold a license here you can own a vehical.

Must vary state to state. AFAIK, there's no age restriction to owning a vehicle in PA

I was sixteen when I got my first car registered in my name. Either his state has some draconian DMV laws, or else he is misinformed.
