I am currently learning Spanish (hoping to be fluent one day) and was just wondering how many of you guys know how to speak a second language. If so, what language?

Working in a school, I have become rather fluent in 'moron' or 'idiot speak' To the untrained ear, the words SOUND like they're in English, but in reality the diction is gibberish jammed into the mouth of a person who was raised to speak our language.

I'm in my second semester of college level German. I'm picking up quite a bit more than I thought I was and am able to hold basic conversation in German. I can ask and answer a reasonable array of questions.
My professor has started teaching the class entirely in German and I'm happy to say it took me awhile to notice. |

I speak fluent Gangster...
Where I went to school it was mandatory to take French for like six years. I am not anywhere near a pro at it, but I can understand it, and speak it when need be. |

I'lll need to learn some more spanish before I go away. I hate being the ignorant tourist that expects the spanish locals to speak English all the time in Spain. You get treated alot better this way too
