How the hell does the Economic stimulus plan effect me and how much can I expect to be getting?

I a full time student/part time worker... I do pay taxes.

I worked full time from January till September, and I made round about 11,000$ this year (Net, after taxes).

How much can I expect?

Well then, as long as you have made $3000 and are currently employed, you will be getting $300.

He's talking about the economic stimulus package that is being implemented this year to try and bolster the economy by having people spend tax money on pure crap. It's a frikken poultice to take people's minds off the fact that the economy has slowly been on the road to ruin since the advent of the death of the industrial sector which is the very foundation on which ANY economy resides.

We've gone from an economy that prospers from producing goods to one that only prospers when we consume more goods than we could possibly need. It started in the 80's with the advent of cheap Japanese and Chinese imports and progressed to steel dumping, outsourcing, and other practices that have slowly eroded the ability of the USA to maintain it's economic well being. It isn't any one administration's fault, but rather the collective mistakes of Bush Sr. Clinton, and W.

That said, I'm following MBD's lead and investing it in my own future. Either a MM acct or my Roth IRA.

I guess that would be the smart thing to do. Good thing I'm stupid!

I already spent mine (before receiving it) on 1000 230gr FMJ 45acp projectiles, 1000 124gr 9mm projectiles, 2000 large pistol primers, 2000 small pistol primers, 5000 small rifle primers and 5000 large rifle primers.

I even spent my wife's share... on 3000 150gr M2 30cal projectiles and a keg of smokeless powder. (Just don't tell her)

All made in the USA.
Hooray for stimulating the economy! It won't work worth a crap... but I did my share just the same!
