I dont think it looks bad at all especially if you are into milsim. And if the egg works then good. As they say "If it aint broke dont fix it" Good luck with any future mods too it.

The SP-8 works well, but it's just garish in looks IMHO. SP's been trying to break into the scenario market for a couple of years now, but their attempts have been less than successful. It should be interesting to see how their new marker line sells.

I have an SP-8... and dislike it beyond belief. Bulky, difficult to strip, on/off button is a pain, and the marker feels cheap just to top the list of complaints. Also SP-8's look stupid without a stock. I think they look best with a Q-loader mounted under the front grip. Compared to alot of the other guns out there it is decent for the money, and still preferable to other milsim markers when compared (in regards to performance) against competitors such as Tippmann, and Spyder. As for the price of a Halo B... you can find them used and in good condition for the price of an Evolution III. Edited by Commander_Cool - 21 January 2008 at 10:03am |

ya im not a fan of the sp8 but if thats what you are into. at least you dont have to spend a wack load of money to make it look like a milsim marker...it needs the stock badly to complete the m8 look

SP8 are such bad examples of the M8. I love M8's. I'll call it here and now. In a few years the M8 is going to take over the M4/M16 with the M8 Compact Carbine, the Mk98 SAW with the M8 SAW and it will make a good marksman rifle with the M8 DMR. So watch how many A-5, 98, etcc mods are going to come out. There is also a M8 M320 that comes with a M203. I'm calling it out now |

dont like ions, dont like that much plastic, dont like milsim, dont like the look, have you ever noticed that SP8s with the stock have a different sound? ive seen a couple out on the feild and the ones with stocks tend to have a high ping like noise? oh and eggys... i watched the heroes for a day vid and cried at how much paint was wasted.... i was so turned off... plus i have yet to see a egg that is over a year old and not have electricall or duct tape or a busted feedneck.

The XM8 was under development by the United States Army from late 98' to 2005. It was put hold on in mid 2005. And cancelled officially on October 31st 05'. As of August 23rd 2007 an un-named Canadian Arms company took up the patent and are currently looking into production. But it will not be introduced into any Armed Forces until the situation in the East is decreased. |

The M-8 had serrious Melting Issues when field tested in Iraq. Though I read another DoD Report where they perform better in the sand (jam wise) than the FN SCAR Light.
With the M16 in their A-4 Incarnation I still think that the HK416 is the best replacement. Still the XM-8 was just the North American Version of the HK G-36 wich is quickly becoming the leading rifle in the Western World. |

I agree. I like the Heckler & Koch HK416. I like pretty much every firearm HK has came out with lol. Never really any major cons with their guns. And as for the G36 I love that gun to. They have so much potention still. I can see the G36 as a primary for most Armed Forces soon. I still LOVE the good old M4 family. Just love um.
