When you have to repeat a word to make your sentence make sense.

Ex.

I remember a guy that had had a pretty cool car.

I have been lobbying for forever to get that done.

Maybe it's just a southern thing. But I swear it seems to pop up everywhere, even on TV. It doesn't really bother me now, but boy did it this morning.

I don't know about normal English, but in AP style we have to change diction.
