Yes, I could probably agree to that. But I still wouldn't see any harm in
the shotgun. Logical, meh. Harmful or stupid? Not really.
Agreed,
not totally stupid but come on he honestly hasn't tried everything yet,
before he just decides to pull out a potentially deadly
weapon.
My original point, even though it's not aimed in the kids
direction.

The shotgun has a 0% chance of injuring/killing the kids when it's
nowhere near them.
A shotgun isn't a "potentially" deadly weapon. It IS a deadly weapon... but
that's why you never point any gun at anything you don't fully intend to
shoot.
As long as you follow that rule, you never have to worry about the
"potentially deadly" aspect of firearms.

You sir are dumb, the argument was ended and you felt the need to keep
it going. I can argue with you till I am blue in the face and where would it
get me? So end it, and everyone will be much happier.

Or for trying to instill a feeling that guns aren't the answer to all life's problems?

Let this thread die, it has gone on to long, arguing about guns is stupid.

Guns have a history of solving many problems.

Unfortunately, they can also create them when used improperly/illegally. This case was neither.

Since when is a bullet wound a problem? It just gives you a cool battle-scar to talk about later.
