IL has a 1 day waiting period,I really bought it Wed night. They did away with the safety lock on the one I got, now they include a trigger lock which is a nice one at that. |

Just got done using my 500, neighbors horse was eating our deer feed again and the little kids thought it was a playground as well, I think the kids outran the horse.

Michigan, both my mom and myself yelled. Since there were children I went out back so they couldn't see the gun but would hear it. Not to mention I was shooting in the opposite direction into the bottom of a ravine aimed at a tree.

Remington might build better guns than Mossberg, but when I was bought my shotgun, the 870 wasn't particularly friendly to use for a left-handed shooter (which I am), and the Mossberg 835 is. The safety switch is on the top of the receiver, at the center of the gun where it's equally accessible for left or right handed shooters. I am the happy owner of a Mossberg 835 now, and it's a great shooting gun. |

Not to mention .357 it is just some deer feed, I don't see why it makes a
difference. I am sure many other animals eat that same feed during the day, also from the pics you posted I thought the deer feeders were relatively close to your house. So why could they not here you when you yelled, also it would have been more effective had you walked out to them and asked them not to do what they were doing other wise you would call the one police officer you supposedly have. |
