Edit: Sweet 1911 Brian Fellows, but I suggest checking one out in person. I've seen great reviews about some 1911's but they just feel cheap and plasticy in person. I wanted to buy one, but I got a HFC Mauser for Christmas instead.

This one's full metal.  No plastic except the grips (which, by the way, can be replaced with real-steel grips, if you want), and orange tip, which is removable (only needs to be in place to transport or sell it).  And of course, when I go to buy it tomorrow (assuming the store has it), I'm going to hold it for myself before I buy it.

Not sure if this store has the version I showed (called the Government), but I'm pretty sure I've seen the Tactical there, which also looks pretty awesome.  I originally wanted to go with the classic 1911 look, but actually, I'm thinking about buying the Tactical now.  Not only does it look sweet, but it also has an accessory rail, so it might be a smarter choice in the long run.  Maybe I'll get a LAM for it some day.  Then, maybe some Hogue grips, and then it'll be kicking some ass.

If they only have one or the other, I'll just buy whichever they have.  I think I saw it there for about $120.
