Miata's aren't bad, I would rather have a v-tec'd del-sol though.

CRX'x aren't bad IMO, but when you are in one everyone wants to race you
because they think your car is going to have something under the hood
when you may not what so ever.

Meh, I would take it, if I found a screaming deal on one but I would still
rather have a del sol simply because of looks.

the del sol is actualy relativly spacious. i like the CRX becouse u can swap the stock motor for a K20

are you retarded or are you just bad at sarcasm?  my ex drove a corolla just like his, same color even.  i drove it several times and that thing was hella sluggish, even compared to my focus zx4 st (153bhp).  I'd be following her in my focus and she would have her foot to the floor and only pulling away slightly when i shifted at around 2,300.  corollas are slow, have crappy handling, and dont even have a very great ride.  the MX5 on the other hand has 170, the base model even has 140 which is still 20 more than the corolla.

A Corolla is a nice car. The regular Corolla's are not fast, but nor are they ment to be. If you get a Corolla XRS with VVTL-I and it will smoke a MX5..

That and I hate Maxdas. Corolla is the most reliable car out there.

Exactly... Corrollas aren't meant to race, they are more of a family sedan type car. Everyone that i know who has one has never had any problems with them, they are very reliable.

id be willing to bet the corolla he has isnt the "XRS with VVTL-I". the way dh said it "Miatas are...weak" made it sound like thats what he was basing his opinion on.  i cant deny that they are reliable though.

edit- from what i found the XRS has a 0-60 of 7.6 to the MX5s 7.5 and a 1/4mile of 16.089 to the MX5s 15.46
