This is the part where it is hard to tell if something is a credible source or not.  One can also say that FOXNews is Anti-Cannabis, along with the cancer society, so what someone needs to do is find a completely non-biased source.  Fox still states that 1 joint = 5 cigarettes, but from what I remember with my research, that is untrue (I really really do not feel like digging up that scholarly journal...).
Also, the cancerhelp.org website states that there are more and more potent plants out there, and again, I remember a scholarly journal with actual studies of the average amount of THC in cannabis seized by the DEA, and the levels really stayed the same.

And that article says that there is no link between lung cancer and marijuana.  This is the part where I have trouble believing anything I see unless I see multiple sources cited and it is a credible resource, because there are a lot of BS studies out there.

Oh, gee, you mean like my link to the washington post?
And my other link to the Harvard study showing that THC reduces cancers?

I didn't think anyone would reply to reputable sources.

Which is an absolutely lame reason for keeping marijuana illegal:

• Tobacco (in all it's various forms) causes all kinds of nasty cancers, you don't see it being banned.  (Hint:  Tobacco companies have lots of money and "sin taxes" provide significant revenue.
• So what if pot causes cancer.  If somebody wants to do something that has harmful side effects, that's their business.  (As long as they don't expect me to help support their later medical care or expose me to second-hand smoke.)
