I was at Pace University learning business and marketing as well as gaining contacts for college. So far I have connections to get into Penn State, NYU and possibly Michigan State and Purdue. I just need to send an email out before I apply to get references and expand my resume (with stuff like volunteer work and internships). Well worth the time, and I got 1 college credit but I hear it really isn't going to do much for me.
And pretty humorously, I found out many businessmen do networking through Facebook. |

there is no definate way to become a sniper in paintball (mainly because its imposible to achieve all aspects of a real sniper)a paintball sniper doesnt have to be exactly like a realy sniper, because paintball isnt really real(ex. you dont kill people when you shoot them) so to the scale of realism, you can get close to being a paintball sniper, but most would prefer the term "hidden riflemen" than sniper. you can get a apex or flatline to get more range, but you lose acuracy. even pump players who are very good at 1 shot kills cant shoot from far ranges and they are almost always mobile, as they marker is so small and light. if you have a good barrel and good aim, you wont have the needed range to be a sniper, if you are stealthy and stay in 1 spot like some snipers, your useless. you can have stealth, you can stay still and not be seen, you can either have range or acuracy, but you will never have them all. i have a 17 inch(lol apparently a 16 inch is not acurate enough and 18 inch is too long) barrel kit, and i love it. if i shoot 290(i never shoot on 300 because the gun might spike and shoot hot, which isnt nice) and i arc the shot i can normally get people pretty far away, but not with 1 shot, i usually use 5-10 to longballing it. up close i can get around 2-3 shots per player out, and i am decent at stealth and i know how to find players blind spots easily. the barrel is also SUPER quiet so i can normally peg someone without them knowing where i shot from(i have an a5 and cocker, and it can make the a5 quiet, well you can hear the a5 if your hodling it but past 30 ft your invisible) the barrel kit is a knock out, the long barrel is a gas guzzler so i sugest using co2 on an a5, and practice. |

lol i have no idea what i did wrong but my last post is all 1 line.... its still good to read, and to answer directly what the name of the topic was, are snipers bad or needed. right now anyone who calls themself a sniper is stupid, and normally bad at a lot of nescisary aspects of paintball, so yes, snipers are needed. if there was a gun that could shoot 1000+ft, puts ball on ball and could snipe a lady bug of your enemies mask from 1000ft away that would make the sport. i say that if they made such a gun, id have 1 easily andd drop my ebladed cocker, because being a true sniper would be sweet, as well as i know everyone who plays woodsball would like more range and acuracy, and i know taking down an enemy sniper would be the sweetest feeling ever, but alas, no such gun exists or will ever exist for a very long time...
