May be picking up a mazda b2200 within the next few weeks for 400 I
believe it's a good deal because if something goes bad on it I can go to the
local junk yard and pull the new part.

That doesn't make any sense. A car hitting the back bumper of a truck always loses. Turn it around, and put the truck as a Toyota and a car as pretty much whichever equivalent you wish, the results will be the same. I find Toyotas to be overrated, but I'm stupid enough to think any car is indestructible.
