I just started reading this book called Not For Sale. It is all about modern day slavery and how it operates/how people are trying to stop it. The facts/stories in this book are so eye opening. There are 27 million slaves worldwide, 200,000 slaves in the US (with 17,500 more each year), and the slave trade is the third most prosperous business in the world (behind drugs and arms trade).

as of now, just finished The Great Gatsby.  AMAZING book, the irony is rediculous, the symbolism too.  Waiting for the next harry potter to come out.  Also trying to get back into shogun, but each time I look at that big mac sized paperback...

I just finished 5 out of 7 Resident Evil books. They are actually pretty good. I'm a fan of the games.

I too, am waiting for the 7th Harry Potter book.

A 'massage parlor' near my house was just busted for human trafficking. They were open from 9am-11pm every day of the week, and police said that was kind of a giveaway to look into them. Several other places like that were also busted.

I read the Great Gatsby in the fall. Not a bad book, and I just finished I'm really dragged but nothing gets me down.
