Hi everyone,

I've bought a x7 and it's my first tippmann .

Now for the noobie question: how do I remove the drive assembly parts? I've followed the manual instructions but I might be doing something wrong because when I get to the part of sliding the parts out, the rear bolt doesn't come out and stops at the back.

I don't want to brake anything so I'm asking for your help in guiding me through the process

Thanks in advance!

Did you remove the Tombstone? Other than that It's pretty much good to use the exploted view that comes with the gun. As with any new marker its just a matter of learn by doing. I seen on a few boards some folks posted a few guides.

It may have the same issue as some A5s where you need to loosen the rear screws that hold the body togather slightly to remove the internals.

I tried searching in a lot of forums but didn't find any info on this that's why I posted here.

I'll try too loosen the rear screws. They may be to tight.

Another thing I don't understand is the way the manual tells to uncock the marker. When I want to be certain that the marker uncocks I arm the marker and then dry fire. That's the correct way, no?

Thanks for the answers

If you dry fire with gas in the gun it will just recock :P. Just pull the trigger with no gas in the gun, thats all.
