Again. Been about a year since I last did that type of thing for a project.

For the project, I invested in three companies: Apple, and two others. When I did this, Apple shares costed around $33 a piece. I look again today, and they are at $81.

Thank god I talked myself out of actually investing. That would have been $1800 I would have missed.



Anyway, Virtual Stock Exchange is a neat online "game" that acts just like the real stock market.

One of the better features: It allows for group contest type things that allow users to compete against others.

If you decide to join (which you should, because why not), all you have to do is sign up for the site(no verification required so it takes maybe a minute to do), look on the left for a "Find A Game" link, click it.

Our group ID is TippmannForum, and the password to join is gatyrissexy ().

Game starts today, and it ends the 25th of june. You start out with $100k, but spend it wisely.

I think it's every hit, like if a Nokia is about to release a new phone, investing in the Nokia website would be wise.

You can make your profile/transactions private now, and there is no minimum price for the stocks you can buy, so penny trading is a go.

Always remember, Gatyr is sexy.
